2012 NFL Combine short

Many football insiders jokingly refer to the NFL Combine as the "Underwear Olympics" due to the sheer number of athletes dashing, bench-pressing and jumping in Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium in little more than compression tops, tights, socks and cleats. Its the ultimate show-me-what-you-got job interview for aspiring NFL players. And just as in every performance, there must be zero distractions. This is the reason why the stretch woven short seen above was designed.

Combining the lightweight nature of a woven with the stretch and comfort of elastine into the main body, the short practically moves with you, eliminating any sort of snagging or unnecessary gathering when moving forwards or laterally. The side panel is engineered with the same stretch woven fabrication but also laser-perforated for increased ventilation and also to reduce weight. The futuristic line art on each side are high density prints. The end result is a short that is 32% lighter than a traditional weight basketball short and therefore, provides a slight competitive advantage to the athlete.
